The Paleo Diet

These views are not simply true.

The facts are: Paleo is clean, but you can have carbs, avoid self- deprivation , and you can even keep the fat too!

The name is derived from the Paleo Paleolithic , which was a period of pre - historic primitive man began to emerge . That is why it is sometimes called the caveman diet or progressive . Now, when the scientists studied how early humans ate and how their diet on their health. Scientists have found that conditions such as heart disease , stroke and diabetes were almost absent in our prehistoric past , and the researchers wanted to determine whether diet plays an important role.



The cornerstone of the Paleo diet is the restriction of objects, such as grains , sugar and processed foods while encouraging the consumption of vegetables and meat as the primary source of energy. This is a stark contrast to the food pyramid 1990s, where cereals , breads and pasta were the main sources of calories in the standard American diet , appropriately abbreviated " SAD " contrast

The problem is that S.A.D. led to unprecedented rates of obesity and chronic diseases in epidemic proportions. The researchers found that because our early ancestors were hunter- gatherers, naturally evolved to digest meat and vegetables easily genes. On the other hand , since the sugar and carbohydrates are much more difficult to find in nature , have little or no genetic protection against the harmful effects of the enormous amount of carbohydrates we consume in the agricultural society of today.

So what does this mean for you ? This means that the food can be easily found in nature are part of the Paleo diet , as this is where our ancestors found food. Our genetics have evolved to provide our body the necessary proteins and the biological mechanism to deal with meat, vegetables and fruit in a very efficient. However, carbohydrates are not the enemy. In fact, they are essential to the body in small portions similar to what you find in the fresh fruit. However, the simple sugar cereals and bombard our systems with lots of glucose while our bodies often feel overwhelmed . This is an important factor contributing to rising rates of obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and many other secondary conditions .

In structural chiropractic , daily patient care should reduce inflammation and the total weight of the body to maintain the structure and function of the bone healthy and balanced . As the weight of the fall of a person and the inflammatory response of the body decreases , the backbone will have a better protection against disc degeneration , degenerative arthritis and other issues .

Although my main focus and expertise is structural correction , I recommend the Paleo diet because of its focus on the meat and vegetables in a scientifically valid way for most people to eat for weight control and optimal health
